ARBOR DAY TREE GIVEAWAY

Each spring, Keep Evansville Beautiful leads in effort to giveaway 250-400 trees to residents in the tristate area. With an aim to strengthen Evansville’s urban landscape, replenish the tree canopy, and address heat islands in the area, we have worked with community partners to add thousands of trees across the community since the program began over 10 years ago. Unlike other Arbor Day celebrations, we give away 10-20 foot trees to better ensure the survival of the trees we distribute each spring. Additionally, we lead activities to promote the best practices for planting trees at the event.
